The Appalachian and the Allegheny Mountains

I have taken many beautiful sights on my tablet camera, but I still haven't learned how to access them-so I may find some pictures from Jeffrey's phone to share with you or I may just tell you about the pictures I pull up.  Anyway, these are from our travels during the first week in August moving from Virginia to West Virginia.  I have to tell you again how beautiful both states are, but they are still hot to visit in July and August.  We are at Greenbrier River Campground near Alderson, West Virginia. It is small, but beautiful right on the river.  Deer walked right by Jeffrey this morning and this afternoon a mama turkey and three babies crossed right in front of our camper.

Okay, these are of our campground.
The only mountain picture I could pull from Jeffrey's phone,
but you wouldn't believe the mountains we have traveled over and around.

These are pictures of Lewisburg, West Virginia. We visited there today. Pretty artsy, nice downtown area with lots of restaurants. We're planning to travel to Charleston, West Virginia this weekend to meet two couples, our friends from South Carolina to travel to Niagra Falls.
