Headed to Michigan

Today is Monday, August 10. I can't believe I would be starting school for the new year! We are so blessed that we are able to do this! I love it! Today we are traveling with are best friends Charles and Terri Settler and Charles and Joey Irons from Dewberry, South Carolina. We just left Rippling Waters campground near Charleston, West Virginia and are headed to Michigan. Hope to make the Upper Peninsula tomorrow.  These pictures show the campground we stayed in near Charleston, West Virginia. It was called Rippling Waters. You can see it was very beautiful.

Here we are crossing the Ohio River headed into Ohio.  We are planning to drive all the way to Sterling, Michigan today.  Therefore, we'll have to drive all the way across Ohio.

Here we are stopped at the Welcome Center on Highway 23 over into Michigan. In case you don't know, Sterling is supposed to be somewhere close to Saginaw or Bay City.  I haven't looked on the map yet. Terri made the reservations.  We left our campground at 7a.m. We stopped for gas once andstopped at the Welcome Center in Michigan for lunch. It is after 5p.m. and I know the guys are beat from driving.  We mostly traveled on Highway 23, but some on interstate 75.  They were doing construction on 75 and lots of truckers. Hairy! We also got in two horrendous rain storms.
