Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore National Park.

Yesterday we drove round trip about 10 hours to Sleeping Bear Dunes- it was past Traverse City.  Beautiful! We also drove through Petosky and Ann Arbor, where they had a terrific storm that pushed over huge trees. Both places are beautiful and I would like to go back and visit. I am posting pictures of some of the sights we saw.  So far we have seen Lake Heron and Lake Michigan. Beautiful! Cool and windy. Great summer weather when you are tired of the heat and humidity. No humidity here!

The last pictures show our friends.  We are sharing a Low Country Bog- that's shrimp, potatoes, onions, corn on the cob, and Polish sausage.
