We are leaving for Niagra Falls -Going to the Canadian side. We'll meet Carol and Charles from Delaware on Sunday. We met them last year at Hudson when we were having windows put in our first Allegro Bus. They've asked us all summer to come up to Delaware, but we couldn't get away. We've been parked at my brother's house on Lake Murray since April of '16. It was a great place to stay. We had to remain in South Carolina first because Jeffrey had kidney stones #45, 46, and 47. Dr. Lamb is working with him to hopefully stop manufacturing of stones. Then we waited for our baby, Charlotte to be born. You'll see pictures in a later blog. She's beautiful! If they would include us in their lives we wouldn't be traveling ,but holding a baby. I have lots to share since it's been over 9 months since I blogged. Most of my posts will not be in order. I'm pulling pictures from Jeffrey's phone as I access them.
This is Cody our youngest. Another reason we stayed in South Carolina this summer. We moved him into an apartment out off of Harbor View. I love Charleston. We met him for lunch on Wednesday. This is on King Street in Charleston , South Carolina. If you haven't visited Charleston you must! It is beautiful! Just try to remember heat and humidity in summer months. It's horrendous!
Pictures taken at Ed's house during the summer of '16. It's a dog's life. Very true at Ed's. Boomer and Dakota , his constant companions. They even go to work with him. I had to include one of his race cars. Ed raced IHIRA for 30 years. And another of his passions flying. He flies over Lake Murray in the plane. Ed is my baby brother.
Oops, I made a mistake. I inserted the pictures of Addi and Ed riding the jet ski on top of Ed's race car and airplane. Anyway, one weekend when we had Addi Ed took her for a ride on the jet ski. She loved it! But when Heather found out- that's our daughter-in-law. Well we didn't get to keep Addi the rest of the summer. If you haven't figured out Addi is our five year old grand daughter. Isn't she beautiful. She is Charlotte's big sister. They both belong to Andrew, our middle son andhis wife Heather. They live in Lexington, South Carolina. And , if you don't know Lake Murray and Lexington and Batesburg-Leesville(where we're originally from) are about 20 to 30 miles west of Columbia, South Carolina, the capital. This area is beautiful with mild winters, but hot summers. We used to experience more of the four seasons, but not so much anymore. It stays hot more in the spring and fall. But so you'll know, we are only less than three hours to beautiful beaches-Myrtle Beach tie name a well known one. The coastline is gorgeous. Also, we're less than three hours to the mountains-Caesar's Head or Table Rock. Two other significants-The University of South Carolina and Clemson University.
Here are some of our children. Andrew, Heather, Addison, and Charlotte. I hope to show you some more pictures when I can find them. Charlotte was born on July 29, 2016. Aren't they all beautiful!
I know this is a collage of information. Maybe I can put it in some kind of order later. I know I will want to know how to get to the baby pictures.
